From Stintino, since 2014. Five original Piaggio Vespas and the desire to show Sardinia as those born here know it.
Chapter I — The story
How we started.
VespAway began in 2014 with a single restored Vespa — an aqua-green Primavera 125, bought from an old mechanic in Sassari who'd kept it in the garage for fifteen years. The idea was simple: the best way to see the north-west coast isn't by car, and isn't by bus. It's by Vespa, slowly, stopping.
First customers were friends of friends, then a TripAdvisor review, then a season, then five. Today we are five units, three models, and we operate only in Stintino. Deliberately small. Deliberately local.

Chapter II — The way
Why only Vespa, why only here.
The original Piaggio Vespa is a 1946 object that crossed the post-war years, Fellini's films, the streets of Rome. Riding one is already half the experience. We don't offer 'scooters' — that's a distinction that matters to us.
And we operate only in the north-west of Sardinia because it's the area we know like the back of our hand. La Pelosa, Capo Falcone, Le Saline, Castelsardo — we can tell you the best time, today's wind, the bar with the right granitato.
Chapter III — The future
Where we want to go.

What we believe in.
Hyper-local, always
No franchising, no expansion at all costs. We only know north-west Sardinia, and we know it well. When we know Rome equally well, we'll expand.
Deliberately small
Five Vespas, not fifty. Maximum six tours per evening. We can afford to reply to every message within five minutes, on Sunday, in August.
Heritage matters
The Vespas are original Piaggio, restored or new. Never knock-offs. Sardinia isn't an Instagram backdrop — it's an island with two thousand years of history. We treat it with respect.
